THE FUTURE OF TIME

Futurist Dr James Beacham sat down with Mike Hill for Futurists.World to discuss The Future of Time.

This exciting episode will release in early 2020. Please subscribe to the YouTube channel so you don’t miss the launch of all the new videos helping you bring in the new decade with big picture, future thinking.

Futurists.World is an original web series exploring different profiles of the future through the stories of scientists, innovators, and thought-leaders around various themes including the future of climate change, democracy, and education.

Particle physicist, CERN investigator, and popular futurist, Dr James Beacham is a researcher on the Atlas Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Switzerland.

Originally from the midwest USA, James believes that every curious human is secretly a particle physicist and very much enjoys talking about physics with non-specialists…like us!

The LHC is a 27 kilometre supercooled, vacuum-sealed, ringed megastructure that runs underground, crossing the borders of Switzerland and France.  How cool is that! Well, according to James that stills way too small to test his really big ideas!

Deep in his underground lair, he’s looking for new phenomena and explanations for some of the key unsolved mysteries of the universe.

He’s a brilliant public speaker who, like Arthur C Clarke, challenges his audience to take a step past the limits of the possible, by going beyond them into the impossible.
